Sibonelo Majola

Director

Sibonelo worked for 4 years under Selumani (Pty) Ltd as a site agent. He has also worked for Yamandosi as a site manager for all road works, new construction, road gravelling and asphalt surfacing 5 years with Macingwane Transport as a fleet manager and plant hire. Sibonelo has his own company, Ichunu doing roadworks and road repairs for Richmond Municipality and also Umdoni Municipality.

He also worked on the Project R293 as a project in Umlazi. Currently Sibonelo is the Managing Director for Big 5 Engineering.

Lucky Nxumalo

Director

Lucky has experience in pipe fitting and has worked as a piping supervisor. In 2016 Lucky started a successful construction company, Zwidelanga Construction, with contracts awarded while SAPPI SAICOR were in routine shutdown periods. Lucky is the Marketing Director of Big 5 Engineering.

Brian Chere

Director

Brian has 14 years construction experience in structural, mechanical, piping & platework and rigging. Qualified Rigger section 26D, and recently did Advanced Project Management with University of Cape Town. Brian has worked for various companies such as Cosira, Tubular Projects, Murray & Roberts and Union Steel.

More recently he was the Construction Manager and Master Rigger at Union Steel on the Woodyard Project at Sappi Saiccor in 2018. Currently Brian is part of Big 5 Engineering as a Projects Director overseeing all the company projects.

Linda Nongayiyane

Director

Linda has 15 years experience in the water and sanitization sector. He has worked for the Department of Transport, Fontana Manufacturing and also has previous experience working at Msunduzi Municipality.

Linda also has road repair and electrical contracting experience. Currently Linda is part of Big 5 Engineering as the Financial Director.

David Mokoena

Director

David has 15 years construction experience in rigging, qualified Rigger section 26D. He is also a qualified Construction Manager. David was the Rigging Advisor on the Woodyard project in 2018 at Sappi Saiccor.

Currently David is part of Big 5 Engineering as the Operations Director currently overseeing the operations on site.
